How healthy is your morning routine? Putting some extra time and effort into your morning is not only a great way to set up your day, but it also helps you to feel more energized. Yeah, yeah, stress…you’ve heard it all before. But what does it really mean to be stressed? And how is it affecting your wellbeing?

It seems every day we hear the word ‘stress’.

 “Work is so stressful right now, don’t stress, she must be stressed” are commonly bounced around as part of our daily vocabulary. Even primary school aged children know what the word stress means. I didn’t even need to learn about stress until the latter years of high school!

But, what is stress from a physiological perspective, what is it doing to your body and why is it impacting on your health? 

I love all 4 seasons, but I’m sure many of you are starting to feel a little anxious about your health with the colder climate and shorter days fast approaching.  If you are already loathing winter let’s strategize a few ways to get you smiling and feeling resistant to all that winter is bringing with it.

The adolescent years bring the more serious side of health issues. This is where our healthy habits can form the foundations for adult life. Balance is the key and if we can instil a sense of balance in our teens, then it is easy for them to identify times when this balance becomes disrupted. They can then instigate a call to action to help themselves regain balance and overall health.

Last year I spent time touring the country educating other practitioners on the topic of “Resetting The Addicted Brain”.
